Frequently Asked Questions
Does it handle sprint weekends?
Yes. Sprint qualifying and sprint races are scored as standalone sessions, just like regular qualifying and races. On sprint weekends you get up to four predictions instead of two. No manual format adjustments needed.
How does automatic scoring work?
After a session is classified, F1 data becomes available, typically within 30 minutes but sometimes up to a few hours depending on when F1 publishes. Once it's in, every prediction in every league gets scored automatically. Standings update, leaderboards refresh, and nobody has to open a spreadsheet.
What if we use custom scoring in our spreadsheet?
Each league has configurable scoring rules. You can set your own point values for exact, one-off, and two-off predictions. You can also toggle sprint inclusion, championship predictions, and carry-forward penalties. Most spreadsheet scoring systems can be replicated in the league settings.
Can I import my old predictions?
There's no public spreadsheet import in the app yet. Most groups start fresh since automatic scoring makes the transition painless from race one. But if you'd like your historical data brought over, reach out on any of the socials or email bence@podiumprophets.com directly.
